Doctors Without Borders workers provide medical assistance to people in  some of the poorest and most dangerous places in the world.

Now you can help. Doctors Without Borders will hold an information session for metro area medical and non-medical professionals who are interested in joining the organization from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 19 at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center, 351 Peachtree Hills Ave. NE.

Interested persons will meet with experienced Doctors Without Borders aid workers from the Atlanta area and hear stories from the field. Rogier van Helmond, an aid worker and recruiter, will discuss requirements and the application process. There will also be an informal question and answer session.
