Dist. 6 Senate forum set for Saturday morning

The Cobb GOP will host a one-hour candidate forum on Saturday featuring the Republican candidates for State Senate District 6.

Candidates Josh Belinfante, Drew Ellenburg and Hunter Hill are competing in the upcoming July 31 Republican primary. The seat is currently held by Sen. Doug Stoner (D-Smyrna), who is uncontested in July. The Dist. 6 area was shifted east last year into Buckhead and Sandy Springs in north Fulton County.

The forum begins at 10:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Galleria Building, 200 Galleria Pkwy. in Atlanta, and will be moderated by Marietta Daily Journal columnist Dick Yarbrough.
