Department schedules dance for those 40 and up

Forsyth County Senior Services is inviting residents to turn back the clocks and kick of their shoes for a Sock Hop at Sexton Hall Enrichment Center from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. May 19. The event, open to ages 40 and up, will include classic sock hop diner food, dancing, entertainment and other activities.

Advanced tickets, available at local senior activity centers, are $15 per person if purchased by Wednesday and $20 afterward. Tickets will be $25 at the door. Sexton Hall Enrichment Center is at 2115 Chloe Road.
