A Delta Air Lines plane was undergoing maintenance testing when it ran off a taxiway and down an embankment.

The Delta Air Lines plane ran off the end of the taxiway adjacent to Runway 9-R. A spokesperson for the airline says a problem with the braking system caused the accident.

No one was hurt in the Tuesday morning accident.

That runway was closed, but at 7 a.m., the Federal Aviation Administration was reporting no flight delays due to the accident.

The plane had flown into Atlanta from southern California's John Wayne Airport Monday night, according to the FlightAware flight tracking website.
