A Delta flight bound for San Antonio from Atlanta was diverted to Houston on Tuesday after the crew identified an engine problem.

Technicians were examining the aircraft at Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport as of 2 p.m. to try to identify the mechanical issue, which occurred mid-flight in one of the plane’s two engines, said Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant.

Flight 1790, which has 149 passengers on board, departed Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 10:50 a.m. and landed in Houston at 11:41 a.m., according to Delta’s website. The flight was still delayed in Houston as of 3:30 p.m.

Durrant said Delta officials are offering apologies to passengers while providing snacks and beverages.
