Perimeter area
Traffic pacing, lane closures set
The I-285/Ga. 400 interchange reconstruction in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties will require flagging, pacing and lane and ramp closures this week, the Georgia Department of Transportation advises.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, flagging is scheduled for one right lane of southbound Lake Forrest Drive from Allen Road to Northwood Drive.
Other activity is set for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
Monday-Wednesday, closures: Two left lanes of westbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Ga. 400, and two left lanes of eastbound I-285 from Glenridge Drive to Ga. 400; and traffic pacing: eastbound I-285 from Roswell Road to Ga. 400.
Tuesday-Thursday, closure: The ramp from Glenridge Drive to westbound I-285.
Thursday (overnight), closures: The ramp from northbound Ga. 400 to westbound I-285, and two right lanes of westbound I-285 from Ga. 400 to Glenridge.
Friday-Monday (continuous), closure: Two left lanes of southbound Ga. 400 from Hammond Drive to I-285.
GDOT also advises that from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, periodic traffic pacing and possible ramp width reductions will occur on all ramps from I-285 to Ga. 400 for deliveries of supplies and vehicles entering and exiting the work zone.
All work is "weather permitting" and subject to change. Information: https://bit.ly/2jfU8S7
