DeKalb County’s Department of Watershed Management recently anounced the distribution of its 2015 Consumer Confidence Report, also known as the annual water quality report. The 2015 CCR, which showcases drinking water standards during 2014, provides detailed monitoring data gathered from water quality testing throughout the year.

Serving more than 700,000 customers, DWM is responsible for treating and distributing drinking water and collecting and treating wastewater throughout DeKalb County.

By law, tap water must be tested for various water quality parameters selected by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division to ensure it is safe to drink. DWM continues to surpass all federal and state drinking water quality standards, providing customers with high quality drinking water.

The CCR is currently being distributed via county water bills,.
