The DeKalb County Commission on Tuesday agreed it will vote on the midyear budget at its July 16 meeting.

Also Tuesday, the board confirmed intention to hold the 2013 millage rate steady at 21.21 mills for the unincorporated area.

A public hearing on the budget and millage rate will be held at 10 a.m. July 16, with the commission vote expected later in that day’s regular meeting.

Tax bills would then go out in August.
