DeKalb County says the sanitation department is a day behind this week because of delays from last week’s snow.

The delay includes garbage, recycling and yard trimmings. All are set to be picked up one day later than normal, the county said.

In other news: 

Tristahn Ash, 20, was arrested by DeKalb police Friday. His charges included theft by receiving, bribery and possessing a car with an altered VIN. Police said Ash offered $20,000 to one officer and $10,000-$15,000 to a detective. He remained in jail Tuesday.
