Owners of the iconic tower at Spaghetti Junction are set to be in court Tuesday morning for a hearing related to DeKalb County officials' efforts to get the property cleaned up.

The 15-story building, known to many as The Presidential Hotel, most recently was the Presidential Boutique Condotel and has sat vacant in recent years. In 2012, co-owners Habib Osta and Vincent Lu couldn't agree on the Georgia Power bill. It went unpaid and residents were later driven from their homes.

The property's owners face more than 30 code violation accusations.

DeKalb officials, including the commissioner for the area, Nancy Jester, have been critical of the condition of the building. Windows are busted, grass is overgrown and trash has been littered in the parking lot. Jester has called the place a danger.
