DeKalb senior group wins grant

Senior Connections, a nonprofit that serves senior citizens in DeKalb and Fulton counties, recently won a $10,000 grant from the Nationwide Insurance Foundation to repair up to 20 homes owned by low-income elderly residents.

More than 50 people are on the waiting list of the housing program, which relies entirely on grants to pay for upgrades.
