DeKalb senior group finalist for $25,000 grant

Senior Connections, a DeKalb County group that serves seniors in the metro region, is among 15 finalists for a $25,000 grant from Southwest Airlines.

If it wins the LUV Grant, the group plans to use the money to build up to five wheelchair ramps for qualifying senior-citizens.

Winners will be elected later this month.
