Officials with the DeKalb County Sanitation Division said the recycling roll cart exchange process will be complete by Dec. 28.

During various events throughout the year, existing recycling subscribers may trade in an 18-gallon recycling bin for a complimentary 35-gallon recycling roll cart, or upgrading to a 65-gallon recycling roll cart for a one-time $15 prepaid fee. New recycling subscriptions can also be processed during the event.

Residents call also submit a completed subscription form to have a roll cart to be delivered to the service address.

Roll cart exchange requests can be submitted by mail, online by visiting www.dekalbsanitation.com or in person at the Sanitation Division’s administrative office, 3720 Leroy Scott Drive, Decatur. Hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Residents may also email sanitation3720@dekalbcountyga.gov.
