DeKalb County residents who normally have trash pickup on Thursday will have to wait a day.

County sanitation services will delay trash service to Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Sanitation services will continue as normal Monday through Wednesday.

The DeKalb sanitation division administrative offices, including the customer service call center, will also be closed Thursday and Friday. It will reopen Monday, Nov. 26.

The North Transfer Station and Seminole Road Landfill will be closed Thursday, but will reopen Friday.
