DeKalb police are looking for two suspects who waited patiently for the second an AT&T storeopened to rob it.

Surveillance video shows the store clerk getting ready to open up the AT&T store at 9 a.m. Friday. The clerk told police he saw two people waiting outside the store, and thought they were customers.

One suspect followed the clerk, while he pulled a mask over his face. The other suspect locked the door, not realizing he was right in front of a security camera.

The masked suspect continued to head toward the cash register.

"Made a motion that he had a weapon and demanded he give him the money from the register, which he gave him," Detective Dennerline said.

Police told Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes the other suspect went to the back room where the safe is located.

"[The robber] made him open the safe and give him some more money, as well as a cache of phones they had in the safe," Dennerline said.

The video then shows the suspects escape through the store's back door.

No cameras are outside, but the clerk told police he got a glimpse of the getaway car.

Police believe those two suspects in the video may be involved in other armed robberies.
