The DeKalb Parks Citizen Advisory Board Committee meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Headquarters, 1950 West Exchange Place, Tucker, according to a press release. The meeting will take place on the first floor in room 111.

Information will be provided on current park improvements and recreation projects.

The DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Citizens Advisory Board is an 11-member advisory body appointed by the chief executive officer, Board of Commissioners, Board of Education, DeKalb Municipal Association and legislative delegation. The board provides general direction and advice on the types of activities and necessary facilities and assists the Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department in their efforts to provide leisure services to all citizens of DeKalb County.
