DeKalb County is trying to help residents’ save money on their water bills by using rainwater.
The county’s Department of Watershed Management will host a rain barrel workshop March 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Tucker Recreation Center on LaVista Road in Tucker.
County officials said rain barrels are a good way to conserve water and reduce water bills during dry months.
The workshop is $30 and the deadline is March 7. Residents can register at www.dekalbwatershed.com.
