A man wanted for a fatal shooting has turned himself in to DeKalb County authorities, the sheriff's office announced Monday.

Emmanuel Lett, 34,  was wanted for the Aug.22 death of Lovell King. Lett is accused of shooting King once in the chest with a handgun in the 100 block of Maypop Lane.

Lett is being charged with felony murder. He surrendered Saturday and is in custody at the DeKalb County Jail.

The shooting led to a five-hour SWAT standoff at a home several miles from the initial incident as police searched for the suspect.
