A DeKalb County man who had missed two days of work without notifying his employer was found dead Friday at his home, and investigators are treating his death as a homicide, police said.

David Johns, 55, died from blunt force trauma to the body, said DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish.

Parish said there were no obvious signs of forced entry at his home in the 900 block of Sycamore Drive near DeKalb Medical Center.
