DeKalb man charged with murder

Nov 22, 2010DeKalb sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 21-year-old Lithonia man in connection with the shooting death of another man last week.
Adrian James Murdock was arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail on Friday, the sheriff’s office said. He is accused of killing 23-year-old Breon Simms in front of his home on the 2100 block of Mallard Way.
Deputies from the DeKalb sheriff’s office fugitive squad arrested Murdock at his house at 2110 Mallard Way.
According to authorities, Murdock and Simms were arguing over money around 4 p.m. Thursday. Simms was shot and died while being transported to a local hospital, authorities said.
