DeKalb makes nearly $5,000 on tiny strip of land

DeKalb County recently sold a .13-acre tract of land on Alexander Drive for $4,800.

The property was a slight strip of land that the county recently declared as surplus, with no other potential use.

County officials said they expect the land to be used to add parking at a nearby clinic, but representatives from the medical center said negotiations were ongoing.
