DeKalb launches Clean Sweep

DeKalb County has launched Operation Clean Sweep, an initiative to address blight through beautification 8 a.m. Saturday at Wade Walker YMCA, 5585 Rockbridge Road.. The multi-departmental initiative will focus on removing debris, trash and grass from roadway drains, mowing grass and removing litter.

At least six departments within DeKalb County, including Sanitation, Communications and Public Safety, are participating in the clean up, and the Fire and Police departments will be on hand for safety assurance.
