DeKalb County and metro Atlanta residents will return to work and school today facing “unseasonably warm” temperatures for this time of year, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said.

Tuesday’s high is expected to reach 88, and rain chances will remain low — about 20 to 30 percent — throughout the week.

Tuesday also marks the official return of Atlanta traffic season.

In DeKalb, no major delays were reported in the early morning hours, but drivers can expect a road closure in part of the county today. Camille Road in Brookhaven will be closed for paving through 6 p.m. today and throughout the week, Channel 2 reported.
