DeKalb to install irrigation at performing arts center

DeKalb County has transferred money from its 2001 parks bond account to install an irrigation system in a performing arts center in the southern part of the county.

The $50,000 will cover the system at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts and Community Center, which was originally designed with low-maintenance landscaping that was not to require irrigation.
