DeKalb County’s Community Development Department will host a workshop later this month on how residents can help with economic development.

The workshop will show how residents can help create a vision for their area, possibly create a community improvement district and ultimately help create jobs.

The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Clark Harrison Building, 330 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur.
