DeKalb County's Adopt-A-Stream program will host a training workshop July 7 at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve.

There is no charge for the session, which will train volunteers how to collect water samples from county streams and how to interpret the data.

The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be held at the park's Nature Center, 3787 Klondike Road, near Lithonia.
