DeKalb County DA Sherry Boston is hosting a virtual town hall Thursday to discuss criminal justice and law enforcement.

Amid local and national debates over police brutality, racism and the role of law enforcement, Boston plans to discuss the issues with a panel of experts at 3:30 p.m.

The participants on the town hall will include DeKalb police Chief Mirtha Ramos, Dunwoody police Chief Billy Grogan, civil rights attorney and community organizer Mawuli Davis, and Marissa McCall Dodson, the public policy director of the Southern Center for Human Rights.

The conversation will be moderated by WSB Radio’s Veronica Waters.

The town hall will happen over Zoom and is open to the public; residents can register online ahead of time.
