DeKalb group to host jazz event
Jazz vocalist Phil Perry will headline two shows at the Porter Sanford arts center next month near Decatur.
There will be a 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. performance on Aug. 5. by Perry as well as trumpeter Joey Sommerville and violinist Brooke Alford.
Tickets are $50 and include a meet-and-greet with the performers. Proceeds benefit the 100 Black Men of DeKalb's mentoring program.
