DeKalb Family Fun Day returns

DeKalb Family Fun Day – featuring activities, entertainment and back-to-school supplies – returns on Aug. 11.

The free event, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Bransby Outdoor YMCA on Rock Chapel Road near Lithonia, is expected to draw thousands of people from across the county. Interim CEO Lee May and Project ARM will collect donations of school supplies to hand out during the celebration, which also features free health screenings.
