DeKalb Counry is adding a pavilion, sidewalks and trails to a recently donated five-acre tract that expanded Delano Line Park in the central part of the county.

The county Housing Authority donated the land it acquired on Delano Drive earlier this year. DeKalb agreed to spend up to $60,000 performing due diligence and paperwork to transfer the property.

The county now plans to spend $65,000 of 2001 park bond money on the improvements and upgrades. Work is expected to begin early next year.
