Ongoing challenges in DeKalb County – ranging from struggles in the county school district to economic development woes – will be the focus of an event Wednesday night in south DeKalb.
County Commissioner Stan Watson is organizing the discussion, which will feature David Schutten, president of the Organization of DeKalb Educators, DeKalb Chamber President Leonardo McClarty and other community leaders.
The session runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Southwest DeKalb High, 2863 Kelley Chapel Road, south of Decatur.
