The DeKalb County Democratic Committee will host a debate this week for the candidates looking to oust Republican U.S. Senator David Perdue.

The debate will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m Tuesday and be streamed live on the DeKalb Dems Facebook page.

All Democratic candidates for the U.S. Senate seat have confirmed to participate, the party said. They include Sarah Riggs Amico, Marckeith DeJesus, Jon Ossoff, Maya Dillard Smith and Teresa Tomlinson.

“The debate format will include three moderators, and a wide range of topics from the COVID-19 crisis to voting rights and economic recovery,” the party said in a news release.

Candidates will also be given an opportunity to ask each other direct questions, the release said.
