School is right around the corner for many metro Atlanta students.

To celebrate the new school year, DeKalb County schools is hosting free back-to-school rallies at three different locations for its students on Saturday, Aug. 4.

Students who attend will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies, according to a release from the school district.

Verification documents such as a report card or online portal account must be provided for students to get their free supplies.

Besides the giveaways, live entertainment, food, free health screenings and community resources will also be available, according to district officials.

Rallies will be held at the following locations from noon to 4 p.m:

  • Exchange Park, 2771 Columbia Dr.
  • Center for Pan Asian Community Service, 3510 Shallowford Rd.
  • DeKalb County School District AIC, 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd

DeKalb students head back to school on Monday, Aug. 6.
