DeKalb County police are still seeking suspects after a man was shot dead behind the wheel of a pickup truck near I-285.

The victim, whose identity hasn’t been released, was found Friday at about 2:50 p.m. on Indian Manor Drive, a dead-end off South Indian Creek Drive. It’s in unincorporated Stone Mountain.

“No suspects have been identified at this time,” Shiera Campbell, police spokeswoman, said Monday. “The investigation is ongoing.”

According to a police report, police responded to the scene to find the man bleeding from the head in a 1991 GMC, which was in the road.

A man had been seen shortly before apparently fleeing the scene with a gun in hand. He ran through the backyard of a neighbor, the report said.

Animal Control came to take a dog that was in the truck with the victim.

Further details weren’t released.
