DeKalb cops crackdown on bars and nightclubs

DeKalb County Police shut down El Noa Noa for not having a state liquor or business license on display. DeKalb County Police had a three-day crackdown targeting bars and nightclubs. Officials checked business permit regulations and laws, including proper closing times. Detectives J. Conley and R.E. Viar (right) clear off the dance floor after El Noa Noa was forced to close.

Detective J. Conley helps a Studio 72 manager find a permit for a bouncer. Except for kitchen staff, every employee must have a permit obtained from the county to work in nightclubs. Police much check each employee individually for their permit.
