U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Lithonia, will open his re-election campaign office Saturday in southeast DeKalb County.
Meredith Lilly, most recently campaign manager for Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed’s re-election, will serve as head of the campaign. Offices will be at 2853 Panola Road, near Lithonia.
DeKalb Sheriff Tom Brown has announced his intent to run against Johnson in the primary.
Qualifying for state and federal races will be between March 3 and 7, and other candidates are expected to come forward in the Congressional race.
