Original story: A Chinese restaurant in DeKalb County failed a health inspection after an official noted an employee failing to wash hands after touching garbage.

Chinese Dhaba in Decatur received a score of 66 on Monday, according to the report.

The report also states officials found a meat cleaver with food debris, a dumpster left open while not in use and ear buds on top of a soy sauce container.

The restaurant previously scored a 70 on its last health inspection last October.

The manager told the The Atlanta Journal-Constitution she was traveling the day the health inspector visited the restaurant.

She said the restaurant will rectify all the mistakes and ask the county to reinspect the facility.

"We will definitely see 90 plus marks in the next health inspection," she said.
