DeKalb buys land for soccer fields

Dekalb County recently agreed to buy an 8-acre lot in Belvedere Park to build soccer fields for the county’s park system.

The price tag, including due diligence, is not to exceed $135,000. Funding will come from the 2001 parks bond.

The fields will be built on Columbia Drive near Belvedere Plaza.
