DeKalb building authority considering new bonds

DeKalb County’s Building Authority will be Tuesday to discuss an upcoming refinancing of bonds.

The authority is considering new borrowing for its outstanding debt on the juvenile justice center, in a bid to save money with lower interest rates.

The meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the finance department conference room in the Maloof government building, 1300 Commerce Dr., Decatur.
