DeKalb County is shifting its garbage and recycling pickup schedule by one day next week due to Memorial Day.

There will be no collection on Monday, May 25. Here is the schedule for the rest of the week:

  • Residents whose regular pickup day is Monday will be serviced on Tuesday, May 26.
  • Residents whose regular pickup day is Tuesday will be serviced on Wednesday, May 27.
  • Residents whose regular pickup day is Wednesday will be serviced on Thursday, May 28.
  • Residents whose regular pickup day is Thursday will be serviced on Friday, May 29.

The county’s North Transfer Station will be open from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Central Transfer Station and Seminole Road Landfill will be closed on Memorial Day and will reopen on Tuesday.
