DeKalb accepting AYP transfers

Students who attend a DeKalb County School that didn't meet Adequate Yearly Progress and must offer transfers to a school in good standing have until Aug. 4 to enroll. Under No Child Left Behind, schools that fail to meet AYP targets must offer transfers to a school in good standing. Call the district's public school choice hotline at 678-676-0081 or visit www.dekalb.k12.ga.us to see a list of eligible schools.
