The Georgia Department of Education released the 2014 scores for the Georgia College and Career Ready Performance Index, with City Schools Decatur’s overall score of 87.3 ranking sixth in the state (Georgia schools’ overall score was 72). K-3 schools Clairemont (100.7) and Oakhurst (98.7) ranked second and ninth respectively of all schools in Georgia.

The CCRPI is the new accountability system, measuring schools and school districts on a 100-point scale (bonus and challenge points allow some schools to score over 100).

CSD’s elementary schools scored an 86 overall for 11th in the state, Renfroe Middle scored an 88.3, ninth statewide, and Decatur High 85.4, seventh in the state.
