Decatur Housing Authority opens senior complex
The Decatur Housing Authority recently opened a new 80-unit senior housing complex in downtown Decatur.
The Oliver House is part of the ongoing revitalization of Allen Wilson Terrace, a former 200-unit public housing community on Commerce Drive.
More than half of the new units will be filled with previous elderly or Allen Wilson residents. All of the units are rented, with full occupancy expected by month’s end.
