Decatur will host its annual spring recycling for electronics this weekend.

People can drop off old cell phones, cameras and computers for recycling. The city also will accept batteries, Styrofoam peanuts and cleaned Styrofoam blocks, mercury thermometers and thermostats.

Recycling is free for all items, except for a $10 charge for television sets.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Decatur High School parking lot. For updated information, call 404-377-5571 or send an e-mail to sean.woodson@decaturga.com.
