Decatur’s commission tackles potential annexation beginning with a 6:30 p.m. work session Monday at the City Commission Meeting Room, 509 N. McDonough St., Decatur. Commissioners will review the numerous neighborhood petitions the city’s received, while also examining a tentative annexation map, projected to add 1.5 square miles to city boundaries and 7,310 more people. Public comment is invited during the regular meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m.
