Ever wanted to be principal for a day. Now’s your chance. The Clayton County Chamber of Commerce and Clayton County Public Schools invite the public to participate in the 4th Annual Principal Partner’s Day. The program is free and gives the public a chance to get more involved in the school system by serving as a principal for a day. It’s an upclose, first-hand look at the challenges of running a public school. Participants will spend four hours in a Clayton school observing the “day in the life” of a principal. The day will conclude with a Principal Partner’s Day luncheon. Participants will get a chance to meet each other at a Sept. 18 orientation and mixer prior to going to their assigned school on Oct. 29. Deadline to sign up is Friday, Sept. 6. For details, contact dcarter@claytonchamber.org.
