Deadline extended for Peachtree City board applications

Peachtree City has extended the deadline for filling eight volunteer positions on four municipal boards.

“Due to the limited number of applications,” the city will accept submissions for two slots each on the Recreation & Special Events Advisory Board, the Airport Authority and the Water & Sewerage Authority, and three occupation-specific openings on the Convention & Visitors Bureau, until Jan. 22.
