Two people died and five people were injured in a wreck in Walton County near the Gwinnett County line, the Georgia State Patrol has confirmed.

The accident happened Monday on Ozora Church Road.

GSP officials said Jacob Reagan, 22, was driving a white Pontiac and crossed the centerline, crashing head-on into a Ford SUV carrying a family of four. Reagan and a passenger, Rajshed Tersaud, 20, were killed in the wreck. Another passenger was hospitalized in serious condition.

Toxicology tests are being conducted to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the wreck.

The family in the Ford was also taken to a hospital. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, but their condition was not immediately available.
