David P. Henderson's Atlanta photography

David P. Henderson is a local photographer and purveyor of Atlanta's history, who has been posting now-and-then combined photos for years. He also runs a blog about Atlanta history called Return to Atlanta and has written extensively on the history of the Atlanta Airport at SunshineSkies.com. The photos in this gallery come from his Flickr account, and are used with permission.

Bankhead Highway Bridge: Known informally as Atlanta's "Bridge to Nowhere", the bridge was built in 1912 to cross the railroad tracks near the present-day Atlanta Contemporary Art Center off of Marietta Street.
