It's feeling like summer already, so Dairy Queen  is making it official with a free summer treat.

On Tuesday, Dairy Queen is inviting metro Atlanta customers to start summer early by partaking in its Free Cone Day, a day celebrating the ice cream shop's partnership with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Participating metro Atlanta Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations will serve up a free small vanilla soft-serve cone with the signature curl on top to each customer. Locations in Lawrenceville, Smyrna, Roswell, Dunwoody and  Atlanta will be participating in the free ice cream fest Tuesday.

On Tuesday, March 15th, DQ is bringing #SummerNow on #FreeConeDay. The day where DQ gives a free small vanilla cone to every Fan in America.

Dairy Queen encourages all customers to make a donation to CMN Hospitals like Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in exchange for the free cone.

The restaurant has raised more than $110 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in local communities, and they are on a mission to continue helping sick and injured kids that need it most.

Contact your neighborhood Dairy Queen to find out if they're participating in Free Cone Day.
